The 2018 United Volleyball Conference field has been set, with six teams battling for a chance to win the postseason conference championship and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship. The tournament begins Friday, April 13, with Stevens Institute of Technology hosting the three day tournament at Hunter College in New York City.

Before the action begins, here are some quick facts about the conference tournament:
 
The UVC will employ a six-team tournament format for the fourth straight year. From 2011-2014, the tournament featured eight teams.
 
Five of the six teams that qualified for the 2017 Tournament return again this year.
 
Stevens will serve as the top seed for the second time, previously earning the #1 seed in 2015.
 
Nazareth, New Paltz and Stevens have quailified for all eight UVC Tournaments.
 
NYU joined the conference in 2012 and has quailified for the UVC postseason each year since.
 
Vassar has participated in the tournament every year except for one (2014).
 
Elmira returns to the tournament for the first time since 2015.
 
The #1 seed has won the conference title four times (2011, 2013, 2015, 2016).
 
The #2 seed has won the championship twice (2014, 2017).
 
The #4 seed won the tournament in 2012.
