UVC Honors Spring 2018 Academic Achievements
The United Volleyball Conference announced its
All-Academic List for the 2018 season and recognized 57 student-athletes from the league's ten full-time members for their contributions on the court and their excellence in the classroom.
This marks the fifth year the UVC has recognized academic achievement and this year’s 57 student-athletes is 15 more than last year and ranks behind the previous high 60 honorees set in 2015.
Recipients of this Academic List must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale), a 4.10 (on a 5.00 scale) or an 82 (on a 100 point scale) during the spring semester. In addition, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution.
Additionally, seven teams were acknowledged as UVC
All-Academic Teams for registering a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the spring semester.
