For his excellent play at the UVC Tournament, he was named the Tournament MVP. He played in just one set in a 3-0 win against New Jersey City University on Wednesday, notching three kills in four total attempts for a .750 hitting percentage. Woessner then had three kills and added five service aces and three total blocks in the Hawks' 3-0 quarterfinal-match win against Penn State Behrend on Saturday at the UVC Tournament before breaking out for 10 kills, four total blocks and three service aces in the team's 3-1 triumph over the Stevens Institute of Technology in the semifinal later on in the day. Finally, on Sunday, he landed five service aces and four kills in New Paltz's 3-0 victory over New York University in the final. For the season, he leads the UVC in service aces per set (0.51) and ranks seventh in the conference in hitting percentage (.359).
