California native Zechariah Lee helped lead Vassar to a 2-1 week, including a win over No. 10 nationally ranked NYU. Lee saw action in all 11 sets for the Brewers this week, dishing out 79 total assists (7.18/set), while added five digs. He also finished the week with 17 total blocks, 15 assisted and two solo, to average 1.55 blocks per game as a setter. In Vassar’s 3-2 win over No. 10 NYU, Lee posted a career-high seven rejections, as well as 36 assists, the second-highest total of his young career. Vassar’s win over NYU marks the Brewers’ first victory against a nationally ranked team since the 2013 season.
