Yize Dong played a key role in three of MIT’s four victories last week, which helped extend the Engineers’ win streak to 10 consecutive matches. Dong finished the week with 94 assists (10.44 per set), 23 digs (2.56 per set), three blocks and a pair of aces. Dong produced a double-double in MIT’s straight-set sweep of seventh-ranked Kean with 32 assists and a season-high-tying 11 digs. The West Coast native followed that performance with a 35-assist outing to go along with six digs, five kills, two aces and a pair of blocks in another straight-set win over Elms.
