Jake Kemp had a banner week as Nazareth’s starting setter, helping the Golden Flyers earn a trio of non-conference victories. He began the week with a 23-assist effort in straight-set win against Keuka. Then in Saturday’s regular-season finale, Kemp dished out 55 sets – a career-high performance in a four-setter – in a 3-1 win over Elmira on EC’s home court. He closed out the week with an additional 43 helpers in another four-set win, this one coming against SUNY Poly. Kemp also served up seven aces, three against Keuka and Elmira, and logged 11 digs in the three matches.
