Senior Matthew Knigge helped the Vassar men's volleyball team to a 2-0 week, posting an UVC win over No. 14 MIT in four games before knocking off Stevenson University in straight sets. Knigge averaged 5.43 kills per set, while hitting .579 for the week on 57 attempts. He chalked up 38 total terminations, while adding two aces and 3.00 blocks per set (21 total). Knigge finished with a match-best 23 kills against MIT on .571 hitting, tying the school record for blocks in a match with 12 total rejections. The 12 blocks in a match tied for the most in a game this year in Division III. He then followed that up with 15 kills on 22 attempts, hitting .591 while posting nine more blocks including two solo blocks. The nine rejections are tied for the most in a three-set match this season in Division III.
