Player of the Week – Stevens
Gabe Shankweiler, Graduate, OH - Allentown, PA/Emmaus
After leading the Ducks to the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) tournament title, Gabe Shankweiler has been named the final recipient of the UVC Player of the Week for the 2018 season. Shakweiler averaged 14.5 kills and logged a .345 attack percentage in Stevens’ two wins. The graduate posted a match-high 18 kills in a five-set victory over NYU in the semifinal match that took over two hours. He followed that performance with a match-high 11 kills, three service aces and two blocks in the championship game against Vassar.
