Spulnick hit .295 with 38 kills and 54 points (4.5 points per set) in three non-league matches against nationally-ranked opponents this past week. He posted a team-leading 10 kills against No. 4 Springfield, while hitting .250 with two aces and a block. He then added a match -high six aces against top-ranked Stevens to go along with 13 kills, three blocks and four digs. In a five-set win over Wentworth on Saturday, Spulnick finished with 15 kills, hitting .353 with four aces, two blocks and eight digs. It is Spulnick’s second UVC weekly honor of the season.
