Kim slammed 62 kills, hit .557 and averaged 7.5 points per set to lead the Hobart to a 3-0 weekend at the Elmira Invitational as the Statesmen improved to 8-1 in its inaugural season. He added 12 digs, four blocks, three assists and three service aces. Kim highlighted the weekend with a dominating, career-high 31-kill performance, while hitting .480 against Kean on Saturday. In a five set win over Drew, Kim hit .600 and recorded 13 kills to go along with one error, while playing the final two sets. He hit .667 with 18 kills and zero errors against Thiel. Kim ranks first in the UVC in kills per set (6.47), and points per set (7.24), and ranks second in hitting percentage (.465). It is Kim’s second UVC weekly accolade of the season.
