Kim led No. 14 Hobart College to an important 2-1 week in UVC play, grabbing crucial wins over No. 15 Nazareth and SUNY New Paltz. The Statesmen's lone loss came to No. 13 NYU in a five-set thriller on Sunday. Through three matches, Kim put down 66 kills, hitting an impressive .455, while adding 26 digs, seven aces, six blocks, five service aces and four assists. Against Nazareth, Kim slammed 18 kills, while hitting a remarkable .708 in the sweep of the Golden Flyers. He followed that with up with 20 kills, while hitting .514 against New Paltz and 28 kills against NYU. Kim averaged 5.50 kills per set, 2.17 digs per set and 6.38 points per set in the three matches last week. Kim leads the nation in kills per set (5.62) and points per set (6.35) and is now a four-time UVC Player of the Week.
