Nguyen was a key contributor in the Violets three victories this week, two of which secured the No. 2 spot in the upcoming UVC Tournament. In victories over No. 18 Misericordia University, No. 8 St. John Fisher University and No. 17 Nazareth University, Nguyen recorded 118 assists (9.83 per set) to go along with 23 digs (1.92 per set) and four service aces. Nguyen dished out 52 assists and added 23 digs in the five-set win over St. John Fisher Friday evening. It is Nguyen’s second UVC weekly honor of the season.
