Kagan was instrumental in the Violets three victories this week, two of which secured the No. 2 spot in the upcoming UVC Tournament. In victories over No. 18 Misericordia University, No. 8 St. John Fisher University and No. 17 Nazareth University, Kagan totaled 31 kills while committing just seven errors in 52 attempts for a .462 hitting percentage to go along with 12 total blocks. He hit .520 with 16 kills and five blocks in a five-set win over St. John Fisher Friday evening and hit .714 with five kills and blocks against Nazareth on Saturday.
