Nguyen led No. 2-ranked Violets to four victories during the week, including wins over No. 12 Messiah and No. 20 Misericordia. He dished out 130 assists, while adding 10 kills, 21 digs and six blocks. On Friday, Nguyen dished out 42 assists to go along with four blocks and three kills in a win over Messiah. On Saturday, he added 32 more assists and hit .750 in the three-set win over host Misericordia. Nguyen’s passing was a main reason why NYU hit .346 on the week, as they improved to 10-0 on the season.
