Tendeorio led No. 13 SUNY New Paltz to a 3-1 mark in its opening week of the year, as he slammed 65 kills to go along with 30 digs, six service aces and six blocks for 74.5 total points. He began the week by hitting .448 with 17 kills and nine digs in a four-set win at Kean on Wednesday. On Friday, Tenedorio hit .350 with 19 kills and eight digs in a five-set loss at No. 3 Juniata. He added 15 kills and 10 digs in a five-set win over No. 19 Hobart in a non-league contest and 14 kills against Widener. Overall, he hit .333 with 4.14 points per set in the four matches.
