In two matches against top 10 nationally ranked foes, Desai recorded 33 kills while hitting .536 and added two aces and 11 total blocks (four solo) in a 2-1 week for the Brewers. Desai hit an incredible .690 while slamming 20 kills without an error and four total blocks (two solo) in a narrow five-set loss against No. 9 NYU on Wednesday before helping lead Vassar to an upset victory over No. 3 Stevens on Saturday with 13 kills (.370 hitting percentage) and seven total blocks (two solo). Desai is ranked third in the country in blocks per set at 1.16 and is 10th nationally in solo blocks with 24 which has helped the Brewers to the second-best mark in blocks per set in the country at 2.53. It is his second UVC weekly honor of the season.
