UVC President's List
The United Volleyball Conference announced its President's List for the 2019 Spring semester this morning. 34 student-athletes from the league's membership were recognized for their excellence in the classroom this past semester. The UVC's President's List distinction is one of most prestigious honors the conference recognizes following each semester.

Recipients of this honor must earn a 3.75 grade point average or higher during the semester, while participating in the UVC. In addition, the student-athlete must display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution. The conference states, "Its commitment to serve the educational needs of its student-athletes is one of the hallmarks of the United Volleyball Conference."

Additionally, seven of the league's teams were acknowledged as United Volleyball Conference All-Academic Teams for registering a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the spring semester. That number represents 70% of the league's membership, and four of the seven programs posted an average team GPA of at least 3.2 overall this past semester. Stevens led the way with a 3.56 team gpa, slightly ahead of Vassar's 3.52 average.

"Our student-athletes continue to achieve at very high levels in the classroom. I am so proud of their accomplishments," said UVC Commissioner Chuck Mitrano. "The commitment to academic excellence from our member institutions is unmatched and these numbers prove it."
