Below are the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) Players of the Week, released on January 12, 2026, for matches played from January 5-January 11. It is the first UVC weekly honors release of the 2026 season.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Tristan Henderson, Nazareth, Jr., RS, East Syracuse, NY/East Syracuse-Minoa
Henderson hit .488 with 28 kills and two solo blocks, as the Golden Flyers began the season at the SUNY Poly Invitational. He began the weekend by hitting .625 with 11 kills, two digs and a block in a three-set win over Rivier. He hit .500 later in the day with 11 more kills against Lasell and added six kills and a block on Sunday against host SUNY Poly.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Quintin Chiles, Nazareth, Fr., OH/DS, Temecula, CA/Great Oak
Chiles made his collegiate debut with eight kills and five digs, while maintaining an impressive serve reception percentage of .974 (38-of-39) at the SUNY Poly Invitational over the weekend. Chiles had five kills and two digs in a three-set win over Rivier to open the season before adding three digs against Lasell and a pair of kills against SUNY Poly.
