The United Volleyball Conference announced its All-Academic List for the 2026 season and recognized 68 student-athletes from the league's eight full-time members for their contributions on the court and their excellence in the classroom.
This marks the 13th year the UVC has recognized academic achievement. Recipients of this Academic List must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale), a 4.10 (on a 5.00 scale) or an 82 (on a 100 point scale) following the completion of the spring semester. In addition, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution.
St. John Fisher University led all UVC programs with 14 student-athletes honored in 2026, while Vassar College was right behind with 12 student-athletes garnering the prestigious all-academic accolade. UVC Champion and NCAA Quarterfinalist MIT in addition to fellow NCAA Tournament participant NYU added 11 honorees apiece, while SUNY New Paltz, who also advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals, had 10 student-athletes honored.
Additionally, six of the eight institutions were acknowledged as UVC All-Academic Teams for registering a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for 2026 spring semester. NYU, MIT, Vassar, and St. John Fisher all recorded at least a 3.5 team GPA, with NYU leading the way with an impressive 3.63 mark.
