Below are the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) Players of the Week, released on April 5, 2021 for matches played from March 29-April 4. It is the fifth UVC weekly honors release of the 2021 season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Matthew Grace, New Paltz, Sr., S, Holbrook, NY/Sachem North
Grace was the catalyst behind a 4-0 week for New Paltz. He had 29 assists in three sets on Thursday, as New Paltz swept Elmira. He enjoyed a strong outing for the Hawks in a pair of three-set sweeps over nationally-ranked Nazareth Saturday. Grace finished with 21 assists in set one, while adding two kills on three attempts, two blocks and four digs in three sets of work. The following match, Grace helped his team to 41 kills in three sets, gathering 34 assists and adding one kill and two digs.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – A.J. Erickson, Vassar, Fr., S, San Diego, CA/Scripps Ranch
Erickson enjoyed another solid performance in Vassar's weekend sweep versus No. 6 St. John Fisher. Erickson dished out 73 assists in two matches with one ace, 11 digs, and four total blocks. He recorded 39 assists in the first match and then 34 in the second.

The United Volleyball Conference (UVC) is a volleyball-specific conference that features nine member institutions. The conference was founded in 2010 and began play in January of 2011.
