Below are the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) Players of the Week, released on March 13, 2023, for matches played from March 6-12. It is the eighth UVC weekly honors release of the 2023 season.
 
CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Gautham Dasari, NYU, Sr., OH, Cupertino, CA/Monta Vista
Dasari slammed 40 kills and added 16 digs and three blocks for NYU in two matches. He began the week with a season-best 24 kills and seven digs, while hitting .333 in a five-set win over St. Joseph’s of Long Island Tuesday. The following night, he added 16 kills, nine digs and two blocks in a four-set loss to No. 1 Stevens. Dasari averaged 4.4 kills and 4.7 points per set in the two matches.
 
CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Pat Wing, New Paltz, Sr., MB, Massapequa, NY/Massapequa
Wing helped the Hawks to two wins during the week against a key victory over UVC for Elmira in straight sets Saturday. He posted 11 kills on 18 attempts with an ace, three blocks and four digs in the win. In a five-set win over Kean, he led the way with 20 kills in just four sets played, hitting .432 with a team-leading three aces and four blocks, while adding four digs. Wing began the week with 22 kills, eight digs and three blocks in a five-set thriller against No. 5 Springfield. Overall, he hit .365 with 53 kills, 17 digs and 10 blocks during the week, averaging 5.3 points per set.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Krish Jain, SUNY New Paltz, Fr., MB, Hicksville, NY/Hicksville
Jain hit .577 with 19 kills, 13 blocks and two service aces for New Paltz. He started the week with seven kills and four assisted blocks in a five-set loss to No. 5 Springfield on Thursday before hitting a perfect 1.000 with seven kills, four blocks and two service aces in a three-set win over UVC foe Elmira. Jain finished with five kills on seven attempts and five blocks in a five-set win over Kean. It is his third UVC weekly accolade of the season.
