United Volleyball Conference Players of the Week – March 4, 2024

Below are the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) Players of the Week, released on March 4, 2024, for matches played from February 26-March 3. It is the eighth UVC weekly honors release of the 2024 season.
 
CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ian Rauh, St. John Fisher, Jr., MB, Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park
Rauh hit .480 with 30 kills and eight blocks, as the Cardinals won a pair of crucial UVC contests against No. 16 Hobart and No. 10 Vassar before falling to No. 3 Southern Virginia. On Wednesday, Rauh hit .400 with eight kills and four blocks as St. John Fisher rallied to defeat Hobart in five sets. Rauh slammed 15 kills in just 18 attempts for an incredible .778 hitting percentage with three blocks, as the Cardinals defeated defending UVC Champion Vassar College in five sets. He finished the week with seven kills against Southern Virginia.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Zack Farren, Hobart, Fr., S, Southbury, CT/Pomperaug
Farren tallied 88 assists, 16 digs, two kills, one block and one service ace in three matches, including two versus top-10 opponents last week. He averaged 8.00 assists per set and 1.45 digs per set. In a five-set loss to No. 7 St. John Fisher, Farren recorded 44 assists, six digs and one kill. He ranks first in the conference and fifth in the nation in assists per set with 10.07. Farren leads a Hobart attack that ranks second in the conference in kills per set (12.55) and assists (11.75). It is Farren’s second UVC weekly accolade of the 2024 season.
