UVC Announces 2025 All-Academic Selections

The United Volleyball Conference announced its All-Academic List for the 2025 season and recognized 66 student-athletes from the league's eight full-time members for their contributions on the court and their excellence in the classroom.

This marks the 12th year the UVC has recognized academic achievement. Recipients of this Academic List must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale), a 4.10 (on a 5.00 scale) or an 82 (on a 100 point scale) following the completion of the spring semester. In addition, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution.

NCAA Tournament participant Vassar College led all UVC programs with 14 student-athletes honored in 2025, while UVC Champion and NCAA National Quarterfinalist NYU was right behind with 13 student-athletes garnering the prestigious all-academic accolade. St. John Fisher University added 11 honorees.

Additionally, six of the eight institutions were acknowledged as UVC All-Academic Teams for registering a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for 2025 spring semester.  MIT, NYU, Vassar, and St. John Fisher all recorded at least a 3.5 team GPA, with MIT leading the way with an impressive 3.76 mark.
