PITTSFORD, NY – The St. John Fisher men's volleyball team dropped a 3–0 decision to Baldwin Wallace on Friday afternoon at Manning-Napier Varsity Gym, falling by set scores of 29-27, 25-22, and 25-21.
How It Happened
Fisher pushed Baldwin Wallace in a tight opening set, erasing multiple deficits and forcing extended play before falling 29-27. Baldwin Wallace carried momentum into the second set, pulling away late to take a 25-22 advantage. Fisher stayed within reach throughout the third set, but Baldwin Wallace closed out the match with a 25-21 win. Fisher finished with 30 kills in the match but was held to a .129 hitting percentage against a strong Baldwin Wallace block.
