Below are the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) Players of the Week, released on February 23, 2026, for matches played from February 16 – February 22. It is the seventh UVC weekly honors release of the 2026 season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Geoff Ndoria, SUNY New Paltz, Jr., OH, Ronkonkoma, NY/Sachem North
Ndoria led the Hawks through a 3-0 week including a four-set victory over No. 15 and UVC rival MIT. Against the Engineers, Ndoria came up clutch with a team-high 12 kills on 22 attempts, hitting .455 while adding an ace, half a block and five digs to total a team-high 13.5 points. He added two more aces with eight digs and four kills in a 3-0 sweep St. Joseph's-LI to cap the weekend after starting the week with seven kills on 14 attempts, while adding an ace, a block and three digs in a quick 3-0 road sweep of New Jersey City University Wednesday night. It is Ndoria’s second straight UVC weekly accolade.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Avery Kielbasinski, St. John Fisher, Fr., OH, Jamesville, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt
Kielbasinski amassed 41.5 total points over the Cardinals' four matches last week. He slammed 36 kills while hitting .287, tallied four total blocks and aced three serves. He added 13 digs on the defensive side of the net. Kielbasinski pounded 13 kills while hitting .400 to lead Fisher men's volleyball team to a road sweep of East Avenue rival Nazareth on Wednesday night. He also had 13 kills in a four-set home win over Misericordia on Friday night. It is Kielbasinski’s second UVC weekly accolade.
