United Volleyball Conference Players of the Week – March 23, 2026

Below are the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) Players of the Week, released on March 23, 2026, for matches played from March 16 – March 22. It is the 11th UVC weekly honors release of the 2026 season.

CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Armaan Desai, Vassar, Jr., MB, Pennington, NJ/Hopewell Valley Central
Desai helped lead Vassar to a 4-0 week as he hit .632 while recording 25 kills, 15 total blocks (three solo), three aces and two digs in victories over Sage, Nichols, New Jersey City and Hunter. In the sweep of Sage, Desai hit a perfect 1.000 for nine kills along with two aces and five blocks (three solo). Desai added six kills (.545) and a block in the win over Nichols followed by six kills (.625) and five blocks in the sweep of NJCU and four kills, three blocks and an ace in the three-set victory over Hunter. 

CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Matt Teplansky, SUNY New Paltz, Sr., OPP, Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale
Teplansky starred for New Paltz in a three-set sweep on Monday night over visiting Edgewood. He recorded a match-high 14 kills on 23 attempts to hit an efficient .522 in the match, while adding four aces and five digs for a match-high 18 points. The 14 kills matched a career-high for Teplansky, while the 18 points was a new career best.  

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Harry Fromberg, Hobart, Fr., OH/RS, Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan
Fromberg continued to impress for the Hobart, as the Statesmen defeated Wheaton and No. 12 Lasell after falling at No. 16 MIT and No. 15 Wentworth. Fromberg played in three matches over the week, hitting .339 while recording 30 kills, seven blocks, five digs, one service ace and one assist. He tallied nine kills (.400), three digs, two blocks and one assist in a sweep of Wheaton on Saturday. He closed out the week with a career-high 18 kills, while hitting .394 with three blocks, two digs and one service ace performance in an upset win over No. 12 Lasell. On the week, Fromberg averaged 3.00 kills per set, 0.50 digs per set, 0.70 blocks per set and 3.50 points per set. It is Fromberg’s fourth UVC weekly honor of the season.
